"Is George Clooney right? Should Britain return the Parthenon sculptures to Greece? This is the poll question of the Guardian newspaper, which started on Wednesday morning through its website. By the time we uploaded the news, 85% of the website visitors are in favor, while 15% were against.
The reason for this poll, of course, was the statements of George Clooney, who in two weeks voted twice, and in fact one of them in London, publicly in favor of the return of the Parthenon sculptures in Greece.
George Clooney called for an open discussion on the issue, noting that other organizations such as the Vatican and the Getty Museum have already returned treasures of ancient Greece that were in their possession.
