The Choir of the Municipality of Paralimni started the artistic year with an exceptional performance in Karystos where it participated in the 16th Karystos Choir Festival last weekend 23 - 24 September 2017. The event for the long and important institution for the beautiful town of southern Evos was K and the Karystos Music Channel under the auspices of the UNESCO group.
In the two-day music festival, six choirs from different parts of Greece and Cyprus (Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Elassona, Paralimni, Cyprus and Karystos) met. The approximately 250 choirs and musicians were applauded by the music-loving public of the city, which flooded the garden of the imposing Giokaleio Foundation with the amazing sea view, in a celebration of culture and choral song.
