I have noticed in the EAC accounts that we take every two months that in addition to the hike we pay for renewable energy, due to your own political inadequacy, the ordinary citizen also pays the hike for the disaster in Marie.
Provocatively and in a completely unacceptable way, the EAC has placed the hike for Marie in its accounts where the ordinary citizen in addition to this cost is required to pay VAT as well as its increase by 2% from 1/3/2012. The question is why this hike did not enter the accounts after the calculation of VAT as was done with the pollutants so that it is not taxed.
I also ask another simple question and I am waiting for an answer from anyone in this government who considers himself competent to answer it for me. It is known that many of the ordinary citizens have installed photovoltaic systems (renewable energy sources) in their homes at a respectable cost and are required to pay for the pollutants as well.
The cost of this government incompetence and inadequacy, President Christofias, is paid by the ordinary citizen, the retiree, the large family, the low paid but also the unemployed; since it is known that at the moment more than 38.000 people (most heads of families) are out of work .
Really, why do you need the new taxes, when you burden the cost of every government failure on us ordinary citizens? Although this is a popular policy for a fairer society.
