A Bulgarian resident of Cyprus was arrested in connection with an investigated case of illegal drug possession, when his wallet was searched in G. Seferis Square in Ayia Napa and a gram of cannabis was found.
He was arrested for a self-inflicted crime by the Famagusta YKAN to facilitate the investigations and was released until the quantity is examined by the State Chemist to be recalled later and charged. The 23-year-old declares himself a drug user. YKAN Famagusta is investigating the case.
