Those who think that the crisis will overtake them, let them not sleep so peacefully. Celebrate my stay yours, says the thymosophical people.
But the crisis gives us a unique opportunity. It gives us the opportunity to return to our roots. Let us remember the namas of the Greek race, through which our parents and grandparents were nurtured and made this place prosperous. Let the younger ones learn the meaning of social solidarity and selfless offering. To put back in our vocabulary, perhaps the most beautiful word in the world, "philanthropy". But also philotimos, a word that you do not find in any other language except Greek.
These times are the lydia stone, where the humanity of each of us will be tested. For days now, an effort to help and alleviate our suffering fellow human beings is in its infancy. The church in Sotira, faithful as few in its work, has offered the maximum for so many years, but we all realize that now the situation is completely different and it has escaped. So we all need to thicken the ranks of the supply teams. In my humble opinion, the volunteer group in the womb of creation, after the commendable initiatives of some of our conspirators, must have a clear and crystalline goal. And that can only be, the immediate taking of initiatives to alleviate the many of our fellow human beings who are in immediate need. The material but also the psychological support, of people who from one day to the next are without work on the streets, having mouths to feed and feel as if they have lost the ground under their feet.
Good, of course, are the cleaning of parks, beaches, wall painting and a lot of other voluntary activities. But, unfortunately, we are experiencing an unprecedented situation, which is predicted to continue. So, there is an insurmountable need to organize, to target our actions, to prioritize them and to channel our energy to the most important. We are neither numerous nor have the resources to respond to many fields. Unfortunately!
Do not rush slowly. The solution is one. Resistance to lawlessness and injustice and solidarity with the despised, the despised and the wronged. The poor of God are waiting. There is hope.
PS: Were the prosecutions against those accused of insults against the President of the Republic withdrawn or even? Really, what kind of democracy do some people want? Voltaire said: "I do not agree with a single word of everything you say, but I will defend, even at the cost of my life, your right to freely say what you stand for." But it seems that some, who are cut for the rights of the people, only hear the teachings of the Enlightenment.
