Specifically, the average price from € 9,85 per bottle, is now sold at € 10,45. So, those who use a gas cylinder at home, either for cooking or for heating, should now calculate the increased cost for its purchase, which takes place during a difficult period for households.
Things are worse for those who use bulk LPG for heating or hot water supply at home, in business, in the agricultural and livestock sector, but also in tourism since after the extra hat of 14% VAT from October 2, now comes to increase and the retail price of bulk LPG by 6 cents per kilo, the second increase in 15 days. Thus, from € 0,91 per kilo without VAT, the price of LPG reached € 0,97 cents per kilo without VAT, with the result that the final price to the consumer from € 1,08 per kilo, today reaches € 1,15 per kilo.
In the market, however, the prices of LPG bottles of 10 Kg are significantly excluded in stores and gas stations and consumers should do their own research in order to choose the cheapest ones to supply LPG, in order to act in a way that helps to keep the prices at justified levels.
