According to a relevant announcement, a clash of an anarchist group with a group of political space had preceded at noon, which distributed printed election material. At the time of the police intervention, both sides fled.
Then, at 5.30 in the afternoon, a group of 15-20 members of the political space, went to a cafe in the city and attacked five or six patrons, while breaking equipment of the store.
A 53-year-old man was injured in the attack and was taken to hospital for first aid.
Eight people who took part in the attack were arrested, including the candidate for MP of the prefecture of Pella, Ioannis Sachinidis, who were identified and arrested.
A case is being filed against them for dangerous bodily harm, distinguished damage to foreign property, insult and threat.
