According to an official announcement, "according to the recommendations of the Commission, the Pancyprian Examinations are divided into Exemptions from Secondary Education, which will be conducted at the end of each four months, and into Access to Higher Education examinations, which will be conducted in June."

The Pancyprian Dismissal Exams will concern the curriculum of the two four months, while the Pancyprian Access Examinations will cover the entire curriculum of all the examined access courses of the DG Lyceum.

The four-month exams are established for all classes of Gymnasiums, Lyceums and Technical Schools.

An innovation of the new proposal is the transfer of examinations, for students who are lagging behind, from September to June each year, and the provision of supportive / supportive teaching courses for success in these examinations.

The institution of remedial teaching is introduced for all classes at the end of each four months, while for the students of the XNUMXrd Lyceum, support will be provided for the examined access courses.

The change in the issue of access to Higher Education is also important, as each candidate will have the right to participate in examinations in two or more Scientific Fields for the Higher and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of Cyprus and Greece.

"Within the next period, a dialogue will be held with all stakeholders, in order to formulate the final proposal and to forward to Parliament the necessary legislative regulations, in order for the changes to take effect from the next school year," the statement said.
