He could not bear their death
An elderly woman lost her two children and recently her 27-year-old grandson, who was killed a few days ago in Lamia with a motorcycle. All three, children and grandson were killed in a car accident.
The first son of the happy woman at the age of 16 was crushed by a tractor in Vardates. Her second son was killed in the deadly car accident in Kamena Vourla that had shocked the Panhellenic. Costas Mananas, then 42, was driving the van that fell on the parked tanker and was destroyed by the explosion.
Her 27-year-old grandson, Giorgos Mananas, was killed a few days ago (15/12) outside Lamia, when the motorcycle she had just bought was "nailed" to a car whose driver tried to overturn. Tragic result two dead (see here)
Today at noon the old woman who lives in Gorgopotamos and every day went to the cemetery to take care of the graves of her children and her grandson could not stand it. The pain was so great that it bent her.
In the face of her grandson, whom she literally adored, she saw the children she had lost. He was her support in life. This death could not be overcome.
So today he took a bottle of pesticide and went to the village cemetery. Before leaving, she allegedly informed a relative, who, although far away, immediately mobilized EKAB, the police and other relatives.
Immediately everyone ran to the cemetery, where they found the elderly woman having consumed an unknown amount of pesticide. An EKAB ambulance immediately picked her up and transported her to the Lamia hospital, where doctors are trying to keep her alive.
According to the first information, her condition is considered critical.
