Unfortunately, the fears of the firefighters for the two elderly brothers who were missing after a fire that broke out in the house where they lived in Pyrgela Argos in Argolida were confirmed.
Shortly before 10.00:XNUMX a.m., firefighters involved in the search of the house found the bones of the bodies of the two brothers, who were crushed and burned by the roof of the house that collapsed before they could leave the burning house.
According to information, this is a woman with mobility problems and a man. They lived in the house that caught fire under conditions that have not been clarified and their death was witnessed and inevitable.
The fire broke out at 04.00 at night. Strong firefighters rushed to the scene, but the flames had spread inside the house, causing danger for the firefighters, as even the roof fell.
The two occupants of the house had locked the windows with sheets, after they had recently been robbed of a large sum of money. Speaking on the show "Good Morning Greece", the commander of the Argos Fire Brigade, Mr. Kapouralos, said in the first dramatic hours of the investigation that the house was completely destroyed and if its occupants had not left it, there is no chance that they have been saved.
According to neighbors, the two brothers rarely left their homes. Firefighters remain at home in an effort to determine the cause of the tragedy.
