In addition, witnesses will be called persons who seem to have had telephone conversations or contacts with the 33-year-old pilot in the critical days before and after the murder, people who knew the couple's financial transactions, colleagues and acquaintances of the pilot, etc.
In addition, detailed technical issues will be investigated for the time of removing the memory card from the home camera and more, in order to demonstrate if there was without a doubt, preparation of the murderous attack with the victim the unfortunate 20-year-old.
And all this, of course, because there was a significant gap in the police investigation that focused its interest on the role of Babis Anagnostopoulos a few days before the clarification of the case after a conclusion of the Forensic Laboratories. And so in the case remain vague points…
Frictions
So far it is known that the murder took place after many months of friction between the couple. After the birth of their child, the disgust - for no perfectly clear reason - that Caroline showed for her husband, for her intention to leave their home with little Lydia, the bad relations that existed with some of the relatives of the pilot etc.
It is considered possible that the advisor, Mr. Mylonopoulou, in her testimony that is expected to be given in the coming days, refers to the fear that Caroline expressed to her, what she confessed to her about the conflicts with her husband and more. As for the efforts of the 33-year-old pilot to be informed by the consultant - during a visit to her office after the murder - what he would submit to ELAS even if he had kept notes from about ten sessions with Caroline in the period October-February 2021. 
The third person
However, it is considered crucial what will happen with the investigation of the reported presence of the "third person", ie the 40-year-old woman with whom the 33-year-old pilot seems to have had contacts - in his wider workplace - at regular intervals. In addition, there is information that there were disputes with her over personal issues.
On the side of the legal representative of the said friend of the 33-year-old pilot to note that "her presence has nothing to do with the murder of the 20-year-old". It is noted, however, that according to some sources, there does not appear to be a recorded telephone communication of the woman in question with the pilot, during the period when the secrecy of his telephone was lifted.
An additional question is whether her phone number is registered in the confiscated device of the 33-year-old.
Something that does not seem to be happening at least for the time being. In addition, there did not seem to be clear confessions of the 20-year-old to the couple's counsel about the existence of a third person in her husband's life. She just seems to have said that "she did not like certain things in his work", without specifying exactly which ones.
However, it remains unknown whether the Caroline family - finally represented legally by the lawyer of Volos Mr. Athanasios Harmaninis - will be called to testify. With further research that may hide important surprises and new facts about the much-discussed case.
