Another charge of rape was announced by the prosecutor's office against the director and actor Dimitris Lignadis, who is temporarily detained in the prisons of Tripoli, after the end of the investigation carried out on the occasion of the third lawsuit filed against him.

The lawsuit, filed with the Prosecutor's Office, about a week after the director was sentenced to pre-trial detention for two acts of rape against minors, concerns adult rape in 2018. The allegations of the plaintiff were investigated by prosecutors, who received explanations from the director in prisons held. With the completion of the investigation, the temporarily detained artist is now facing a new charge after a new criminal prosecution.

The plaintiff allegedly met the accused in Metaxourgeio near the artist's house, where they went and was sexually abused during his second visit to the site in question. According to the plaintiff, the accused had shown him pornographic material on his computer and had offered him alcohol and drugs. The alleged rape took place inside the director's apartment, which is described in detail in the lawsuit, while the complainant allegedly lost consciousness.

For his part, the artist allegedly claims that what the plaintiff claims against him is false and that the whole alleged case was fabricated by the lawyer representing the complainant. The accused also claims that he does not even know the plaintiff and asks for a counter-examination with him, in order to prove the truth.

The new case against Dimitris Lignadis will be forwarded to the 19th Regular Investigator who is already handling the other two cases, who will apologize to the artist. According to information, the court official is evaluating another complaint for sexual abuse made before her against the accused.
