Cypriot actors spoke about their collaboration with the Greek actor and director, Dimitris Lignadis - who is burdened with serious allegations - in a performance that took place in Cyprus.
In their statements to SIGMA, Neoklis Neokleous and Marios Konstantinou spoke about a bad, in general, cooperation.
Lignadis, directed a theatrical performance in 2012 for the Theatrical Organization of Cyprus.
"It was not the most enjoyable collaboration I have had"
"I am surprised by the size of the tolerance. It seems to be a whole circuit around this man. I am amazed at the size and depth of what is heard. We happened to work together. It was not my choice to participate in the production. I will not say that I am surprised for this person nor was it the most pleasant collaboration I have had. I could not communicate with him professionally or artistically ", commented the actor Marios Konstantinou who participated in the show.
He added that "what is happening in the workplace is very sad. It is, however, the result of the tolerance of the whole society and that no one is given the space to speak. It is a place of people who have love for what they do. It should be taken for granted that you can talk about it without being stigmatized. "What is required in a conservative society, such as Cyprus, is stigmatization."

On the other hand, the actor Neoklis Neokleous, who also collaborated with the director, stated that he did not expect such behavior from the actor.
"I can not say that I expected such behavior or such actions from Lignadis, whom I had met and worked with. I'm not saying I agreed with the way it worked. If something has happened in the specific production where we collaborated and that I had not realized, I do not know. Anyway, I am a man of Lignadis' age.
