Thessaloniki: Fines and arrest of the groom at an engagement party

Episodic was an engagement party in Dendropotamos, Thessaloniki, which ended rather ignominiously, after the future groom was arrested as organizer and fines were imposed on guests.

The party ended with the intervention of the police, who found that the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus were violated. The groom was fined 3.000 euros, while six guests were fined 300 euros each.

Police sources say there were more people at the party. However, they managed to leave in front of the police. The groom was taken to the prosecutor, who was referred to the car.

Fine of 1.000 euros to a lawyer

At the same time, an administrative fine of 1.000 euros was imposed on a lawyer, who according to EL.AS. did not comply with the prescribed measures in business appointments. At the time of the audit, more clients were found in his office than allowed by law. Fines of 300 euros were also imposed on customers.

Meanwhile, the Police announced that a fine had been written that had been imposed on a doctor from Thessaloniki, who was going on duty to the hospital of Veria and, according to the Authorities, did not have the required travel documents with him. He appealed against the fine and the objection was accepted. The case became known with an announcement of the Medical Association of Imathia.
