Data on the vaccination coverage of the country were provided today by the Ministry of Health.
Vaccination coverage with at least 1 dose per age group is as follows:
In total, until yesterday, at least 1% of the adult population (77,6+) was vaccinated with the first dose. The corresponding percentage of the adult population completed its vaccination regimen reached 18%. At least the first dose was given to 72,3% of people aged 1-34,4 years and 16% of this age group completed their vaccination. At the ages of 17-25,6, the first dose was given to 12% of those who started vaccinating at the age of 15 on August 1.
Regarding the vaccination coverage per Province, as shown in the attached map, Paphos is still in the first place with a percentage of 88,5% of its population having received at least the first dose. It is followed by the Province of Famagusta with 1% and then the Provinces of Nicosia and Limassol with 85,5% and 77,4% respectively. Finally, the lowest percentage of vaccination coverage has the Province of Larnaca with 76%.
From July 15 until yesterday, 33,635 vaccinations (1st and 2nd doses) were performed in the free attendance centers that operate all over Cyprus.
