Famagusta: Almost 90% received the 1st installment - Reached 80% Pancyprian

The Ministry of Health provides information on the progress of the vaccination coverage of the population until September 13.

Specifically, 80% of the adult population received at least 1^η vaccine dose, with 2^ο goal set by the Ministry of Health to be achieved. Fully vaccinated adults (18 years and older) reached 76% and it is expected that in the next 2 to 3 weeks the percentage of citizens who have completed their vaccination regimen will also reach 80%. At the same time, efforts continue, through various actions with scientific documentation, to allay any concerns and concerns of a portion of citizens about vaccination, increasing vaccination coverage and consequently safety in the wider community.

Overall vaccination coverage of at least 1^η dose of the adult population (18 years and older) is 80%. At the same time, 76% of the adult population completed their vaccination regimen. 39,6% of 16 and 17 year olds received at least 1^η dose and 32,5% completed their vaccination. In the age group of 12-15 years he was vaccinated with at least 1^η dose 24,1% and 13,4% of this age group completed their vaccination regimen.

In relation to the vaccination coverage per Province, as shown in the attached map, Paphos is in 90,9% of the adult population that received at least 1^η dose. It is followed by the Provinces of Famagusta and Nicosia with 89,5% and 79,2% respectively and the Province of Limassol with 78,5%. In the Province of Larnaca, the vaccination coverage at least with 1^η dose is at 74,4%.

Until September 13, vaccinated with 3^η dose 1,421 people living in nursing homes. At the same time, 550 transplanted people have been informed by phone and appointments have been made for the 3^η dose for tomorrow Wednesday (for most of them), while the vaccination of people with HIV / AIDS has started gradually with the help of the Gregorian Clinic. At the same time, the telephone communication with the oncology patients has started to schedule their appointments for the 3rd^η dose.
