The most basic regulation of all is the “Hide from Timeline”That your posts will have. So after pressing enter, think about whether you want the post you made to appear or not.
Take care of your photos. The Timeline puts a lot of emphasis which will now appear in huge size. So if any of them are not so flattering for you, make sure you get rid of it in time.
Geotagging. In addition to being large, however, your photos will also have information about where they were taken. This means that if you do not want everyone to know where you went and what you did, you will need to remove the geotags manually.
Applications. Before installing an application, check very carefully if it requests access to your Timeline and what it intends to publish there. It is also a good idea to go to the application settings from the relevant menu and check what rights each of the ones you have already installed have. Mainly look at the option that states who can see posts and the activity of each application. E.g. Public, Friends, Only me etc.
