Lawsuit against Facebook for privacy issues

A lawsuit that could potentially affect any Facebook user in the US has been filed by a Baltimore law firm. The lawsuit is directed against Facebook for its practice of monitoring and recording the movements of its users even when they were disconnected from the service and visited third sites independently and not affiliated with Facebook….

Although initially the service had refused to confirm that it follows such a practice, after pressure it admitted it and finally stopped applying it. But since her actions were not lawful, there were not a few who took legal action against her.

Although the company is likely to negotiate a settlement with the plaintiffs, it is certain that because its actions involved tens of millions of people, the amounts it will have to pay will be huge.
