The vice-rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Giannis Pantis, is facing the accusation of infidelity, who is being referred to trial for the case of the mobile phone that he allegedly donated at the expense of the Foundation, to the actress Natalia Dragoumi.

The Public Prosecutor of the Criminal Court, Lambros Tsogas, filed a criminal prosecution against the Vice-Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for the crime of infidelity, to the degree of a misdemeanor and by direct summons sends him to be tried in the Three-Member Criminal Court of Thessaloniki.

A preliminary investigation had been ordered into the case by the Thessaloniki Prosecutor's Office, following press reports.

The former director of the commercial store "Logotypos", George Dimitriadis, is also referred to the seat of the same court.

Mr. Tsogas charged him with direct complicity in infidelity, attempted blackmail and embezzlement.

The specific store is managed by the Property Development and Management Company of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while it is said that the mobile phone was purchased from it.

As it became known, the former commercial director of "Logotypos" allegedly, on the occasion of this case, blackmailed the rector's authorities.
