The Police, in the last 24 hours, in the context of 2.487 checks carried out throughout Cyprus, made complaints of 18 citizens and a person in charge of the premises for non-compliance with the measures against COVID-19.
As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated in KYPE, 1.069 checks were carried out in Nicosia, during which a citizen and the person in charge of a property were reported.
In Limassol, 253 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 7 complaints from citizens.
In Larnaca, 222 inspections were carried out, with two complaints from citizens.
In Paphos, 171 inspections were carried out, from which 3 citizens' complaints emerged.
In Famagusta, 388 inspections were carried out, from which complaints of 5 citizens emerged, while in the area of Morfos, 157 inspections were carried out without any complaint.
The Traffic Police carried out 224 inspections throughout Cyprus, from which no complaints emerged.
The Port Police carried out 3 checks without any complaints.
