The Pancypriot Association of Government Doctors (PASYKI) denounces the actions and "methods" of the administration of OKYpY which, "without a trace of responsibility", for at least the second consecutive year, does not submit for approval, through its budget, any new position of medical officers.
In addition, it is noted that OKYpY with "audacity" informs in writing that for 2024 there are no new positions for Doctors, because in the 2023 budget there were 476 positions for Medical Officers of which 154 are vacant.
"Perhaps these include the 3 positions of Surgeons at the GN Limassol surgery clinic, which have been vacant for months, but remain vacant with effects both on the treatment of patients and on the endurance of the Doctors themselves, who unfortunately do they force them to take reaction measures?", asks PASYKI.
"Perhaps OKYpY gentlemen, through this specific tactic, are you purposefully leading the clinic in question to shrink?", concludes the announcement.
