"We walked together and stopped at the edge of the lake at about 5:10. I sat there with Taya, but when I went to put my shoes in, I slipped and fell into the lake.
Teya reached out to pull her out, but I accidentally pulled her in with him. One of the other kids came to take us out, but we didn't have enough. So he took a stick and pulled me first.
As soon as I came out, I turned to look behind me and I didn't see her. The last time I saw her she was in the water and so we called the police. I knew her for 10 years, she was a year younger than me. "
Another girl in the group, after confirming the boy's testimony, added: "We called the police, who arrived at the scene in about 15 minutes."
The teenager who rescued him managed to save one of the two who were in the lake, saying: "At first when we saw them fall we laughed, but then they started to panic. I tried to pull them out, but they pulled me in too. So I went out, got some wood and managed to pull Teya's friend out. But I was afraid to go back in and so I went to see the name of the street to call the police. "
Christopher Wall, a police officer who was out of service and living nearby, noticed the incident and tried to help. In fact, he dived into the lake, but after 45 minutes of searching, he could not find anything and as he said disappointed: "Somewhere there I realized that it was no longer a rescue operation, but finding a dead body."
As he said, the water was strangely warm, but it was so muddy that he could see nothing in front of him. Although he is an experienced swimmer, he said that at the point where he had to swim, as he could not step on the ground, it was very difficult for him due to the currents that existed.
Finally, the body of the unfortunate Teya was found after 48 hours by a special workshop at a depth of 2,5 meters.
