A friend of his videotaped the incident
A 15-year-old boy was tragically killed in Ukraine when his makeshift parachute never opened when he fell from a tall building. The scary video taken by a friend shows Bogdan Firsov falling from the 14th floor in the eastern Ukrainian city of Makiivka.
The adults standing there, including his mother, watched the teenager and even encouraged him as he prepared to jump and try out his makeshift parachute.
An observer from the crowd said: “A crowd of people was there and no one tried to stop him. They only photographed and videotaped. "People are no longer human, they have lost all common sense."
The video shows him with his arms outstretched at the top of the building. As it falls, a parachute is visible but does not open properly during the fall from 140 feet.
His mother, whose name was not released, was so shocked by the death of the 15-year-old that she refused to leave the scene of the tragic incident.
