The cases in Cyprus will be increased by the end of the month due to the contagion of Omicron, according to the Pulmonologist, Dr. Evi Pagdati.
Speaking on the show Mesimeri kai Kati, Dr. Pagdatis explained that this is due to the fact that a large number of cases are recorded daily, so it also means a large number of contacts.
"Because of Omicron contagion, I believe the incidence will be high by the end of the month," he said.
He also noted that "some are contagious and for a day or two they are negative for the virus and circulate normally. While others do not know how they caught the virus. "This composes the whole scenario for more incidents every day and the difficulty that exists in tracking."
Regarding the restrictive measures, Dr. Pagdatis said that it is in the right direction.

Regarding the symptoms that appear in patients after recovery, he said that they can last for many weeks.
