Resigned Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri is traveling to Paris from Riyadh, according to his family's television network.

The Lebanese prime minister resigned on November 4, creating political instability, not only in his own country but also between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

"I'm on my way to the airport," Hariri wrote earlier on his Twitter account. There he is expected to meet with French President Emanuel Macron. Analysts believe that the Frenchman will be able to help resolve the crisis.

Macron, from Sweden, had earlier stated that the Lebanese politician intends to "return to his country in the coming days or weeks".
