France is in a state of shock after the murder of a 10-year-old child, whose body was found thrown in a trash can, inside a suitcase.
The case becomes even more horrific as, as everything shows so far, it is most likely that his mother killed him.

What has happened
According to French media, the 33-year-old mother of the child has disappeared and is wanted by the police. Traces of blood were found in the house they lived in Ferrier-en-Brie in the prefecture of Saint-Marne.
The complaint about the disappearance of both the 10-year-old and his mother was made by the father.
A large, joint operation of the police and the fire brigade was ordered to locate the two missing. Eventually, officials located the suitcase with the dead child, who sustained multiple injuries that were most likely caused by a knife. An autopsy is expected to determine the exact cause of death of the victim.
The 33-year-old left her home without taking things with her and is judged to be in a "vulnerable" psychological state.
The child's parents had started their divorce proceedings, but were still living under the same roof.
