The "ups and downs" were brought by an uninvited visitor to the parliament of the Andalusian regional government in Seville.

The indiscreet rat suddenly appeared in parliament on Wednesday, surprising lawmakers who at the time were preparing to vote on an important issue.

In particular, this meeting was held to decide whether Susanna Diaz, former regional president of Andalusia, would be appointed to the position of senator.

The rodent invaded the room with the result that many of the deputies lost it.

Among them is the speaker of the regional parliament, Marta Bosket, who covered her masked mouth with a shocked hand when she saw the rat. Of course, the rodent, frightened by the presence of so many people, ran to hide under the benches, causing a new wave of upset. Some MPs left, while others made sure to put their feet up on their seats.

According to eyewitnesses who spoke on local sites, the rats were quite large, which may justify the somewhat strong reactions of Andalusian MPs.
