The latest information about the tragedy in Essex with the 39 people who died trapped in a container that arrived in Britain from Belgium is causing horror.

Sources cited by the Mirror say bloody handprints were found inside the door of the death container, suggesting that some of the 39 people were trying desperately to open the door while running out of oxygen.

According to the same sources, these 39 people, six of whom - according to the latest information - were Vietnamese, were either naked or wearing little clothes.

"When they opened the container doors, the first people at the scene saw bloody palm prints as they would probably try desperately to call for help," sources told the Mirror, adding that the image contained dozens of corpses stacked on top of each other.

At the same time, the Belgian authorities gained access to material from security cameras in the port of Zeebrugge, according to which they are now looking for the man who transported the container to the Belgian port.

The container arrived at the port at 14:49 on Tuesday and was then loaded on a ship carrying it to the port of Essex at 1 am on Wednesday where it was picked up by Maurice "Mo" Robinson, who remains in custody.

Joanna and Thomas Maher were arrested on Friday on suspicion of human trafficking and homicide, and British authorities announced a few hours later that they had arrested a 48-year-old man from Northern Ireland at Stansted Airport.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, the couple said they had sold the cab of the truck, which found 39 bodies, a year ago to a company in Ireland.

Among the missing Vietnamese is allegedly 26-year-old Fam Ti Tra Mai, according to a message received by her parents on Tuesday.

"Mom, I love you and Dad very much. I am dying because I can not breathe… I am sorry mom, my way abroad did not succeed "the 26-year-old wrote in her message.

Another 26-year-old and a 19-year-old from Vietnam are wanted.

The 19-year-old's brother revealed that the young woman called him early on Tuesday, telling him that she was getting into a truck and that she was turning off her cell phone so that the tracking systems would be turned off automatically.

The 19-year-old has been missing since then, but the smuggler returned money to the family.

The same happened with the relatives of the 26-year-old who also received money, according to his younger brother.
