Turks abroad began to vote in the run-up to the elections

Voting for Turkish nationals living abroad for the June 19 Presidential and Parliamentary elections will take place from today until June 24, with voting in the occupied territories taking place between June 16 and 18 (3 days).
 
The Supreme Electoral Council of Turkey announced today the voting process for the more than 3.049.065 Turkish voters living in 60 countries and will vote for as long as the voting lasts in their countries from 9 in the morning until at 9 p.m.
 
Should there be a run-off for the presidential election, Turkish voters abroad will be able to cast their ballots for five days from June 30th to July 4th.
 
In countries with the largest number of Turkish voters, such as Germany, Austria and France, the voting process will take 13 days from today, June 7th to June 19th. In Denmark, it will last 11 days, 9-19 June, in Norway 6 days, 14-19 June, 5 days in Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden and 4 in the United Kingdom, from 16 to 19 June.
 
Voting will take three days in the pseudo-state, Canada and Bulgaria, and two days on June 16-17 in China, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Lebanon, Israel and Ukraine. Finally, on a single day, June 17, Turkish voters in Azerbaijan, Iraq, Iran, Ireland, Spain, Egypt, Malta, Uzbekistan and Serbia will vote.
 
All ballots from abroad will be flown by special Turkish Airlines planes to Ankara and will be counted on June 24th after the end of the voting process in Turkey.
 
60 polling stations will operate in 13 countries abroad during these 123 days. Until 17.00 on June 24, Turkish citizens will be able to vote in all 34 entrances and customs of the country.
