The municipal councilor in charge of public works in the Aquaviva Delle Fody area, Austacio Busto, received a threatening letter in ancient Greek.

The politician of the local government of Lower Italy three years ago, had revealed a bribery scandal in three municipalities in his region, in the region of Puglia. The relevant judicial investigation led to twelve arrests and next week, Busto will be called to repeat these accusations, in a courtroom.

Strangers, however, sent him an excerpt, in ancient Greek, from the tragedy of Aeschylus "Agamemnon", to persuade him, most likely, to reconstruct his statements so far. The specific excerpt refers to the person of Paris, who is also the name of the son of the municipal councilor.

The councilor, however, told La Repubblica that he would not change his deposition and that no one would be able to intimidate him.
