A fire broke out on the tenth floor of an apartment building in the remote district of Milan, Quarto Otziaro. The fire spread to both upper floors, although the mobilization of firefighters allowed it to be brought under immediate control.
Seven people were taken to hospital due to toxic fumes. Among them is a teenager of fourteen years, whose condition is considered particularly critical, due to the fact that he suffered a heart attack. When firefighters located him inside an apartment, he was already unconscious.
