California: Woman enters McDonald's and asks to be rescued by man waiting for her in car

McDonald`s, help, Woman, CALIFORNIA

On Christmas Eve, a woman entered the McDonald's store in Lodi, California, and headed for the cash register. Troubled and frightened, she discreetly asked the officers for help, asking them to call the police and give the registration number of her car, where a man who was systematically abusing her was waiting for her.β

After using the bathroom, the woman pretended to place an order to save time. The perpetrator who was outside with the car ordered her to get in the vehicle immediately and to order from the drive thru.

As soon as they reached outside the employee in the drive thru, the woman again made sense with her lips forming the word "help".

At the same time, police officers who had arrived at the scene answering the phone call, entered the store through the front door. The cashier pointed to the place where the woman and the man were.

The woman was sitting in the driver's seat and her co-driver was giving orders when police officers came out of McDonald's and asked the victim to step aside and turn off the engine.

As it turned out later that day, Eduardo Valenzuela had forced the woman to visit his family and threatened to shoot her with a shotgun if she did not obey him.

A stolen rifle was found in the back of the car and confiscated. The man was remanded in custody for criminal threats, theft and illegal possession and possession of a firearm.

The bail for his pre-trial release was set at $ 360.000, an amount that no one paid.
