A magnitude 6,5 earthquake shook western Costa Rica on Sunday night (Greek Monday morning), the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter of the earthquake, recorded at 04:28 (Greek time), was located 16 kilometers southeast of the community of Hako, while it occurred at a focal depth of 19,8 kilometers, according to the same source.
