Excessive reaction brought disaster
ΑIf you are afraid of spiders then you know you can do crazy things to get rid of them. So did a man from California after he first tried to kill a spider with a fire extinguisher and then decided to set it on fire.
However, things did not go as he would have liked, resulting in a fire in his apartment. This is because the spider hid in a mattress which immediately caught fire and spread to a closet in the bedroom before firefighters managed to extinguish it.
The result was a $ 11.000 loss and the apartment became virtually uninhabitable until all problems were fixed.
