An online protest campaign has been under way in Russia in recent days, with teachers posting bold photos on social media in support of a colleague who was fired for posting photos of herself "posing dressed as a prostitute".

Tatiana Kouvsnikova, a 38-year-old philologist, was fired from her school in Siberia when her parents protested because photos she posted on social media in which she posed in a mini and swimsuit "made her teenage students want her."

The school's management decided to remove the 38-year-old from its staff due to her "inappropriate behavior", which angered many of her colleagues.
