The Greek Prime Minister is in Thessaloniki for the Quartet Summit Greece - Bulgaria - Romania - Serbia which will take place at the HYATT hotel, located next to the airport "Macedonia".
Protest rallies are underway, with hundreds of citizens holding banners and Greek flags shouting slogans for Macedonia's Greekness and against the government's policy.

Draconian traffic restriction measures for "safety reasons" have been taken by the Thessaloniki Traffic Directorate so that no car can approach the hotel "HYATT REGENCY", where the Quartet Summit of Greece-Serbia-Romania-Bulgaria is being held.
According to the relevant decision, from 12 noon the traffic of all vehicles has been stopped in the section of the anonymous road, which passes in front of the hotel, “from its contribution with the Provincial Road Thessaloniki / N.Michanionas to its height National Road Thessaloniki-N.Moudania ”.
Traffic regulations will last until 12 midnight. The traffic of vehicles is carried out from the surrounding roads while the observance of the terms of the decision has been undertaken by the Traffic Department of Thermi.
