Singapore: Trump-Kim agreement ready to be signed

US President Donald Trump has said he had a "fantastic meeting" with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Trump spoke of "great progress" and announced that the two leaders would sign a document, but without giving further details.

Earlier, they sat at a table in one of the rooms of the luxury hotel Capella, on the island of Sentosa in Singapore, for a working lunch, after the enlarged bilateral talks were completed, after the private discussion of the leaders earlier in the morning.

At the table were also 13 officials of the Governments of the two states.

Kim had previously spoken of a "good prelude to peace", while the US President assured that the two leaders are building a "good relationship".
