Its epicenter is located in a sea area
A strong seismic tremor occurred recently in eastern Russia.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the quake had a magnitude of 7,3 and its epicenter was located in a sea area 88 kilometers west-southwest of Nikolskoye, Russia, with a focal depth of 33 kilometers.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says tidal waves are likely to hit coasts up to 300km from the epicenter.
