7 bodies were found
Iran says the bodies of seven people aboard a cargo Boeing 707 that crashed earlier near Fatah airport west of Tehran have been found, Iranian television said, adding that investigations were continuing.
At the same time, in a statement, the Iranian army announced that the aircraft belonged to the army and that 16 people were on board, according to Fars.
"We have found seven bodies in the wreckage of the plane; the search is ongoing," the head of Iran's emergency services, Pirossein Kolivand, told state television.
The semi-official Fars news agency reported that the accident occurred during bad weather.
Earlier, however, a representative of Kyrgyzstan's Manas airport said the plane belonged to the Iranian company Payam Air.
