Rarely a genuine copy of the first of seven of the successful and popular "Harry Potter" novel series by J.W. Mr Rowling, sold at auction for .28.500 XNUMX.

This is the first edition of the book "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", which was purchased by a private collector from the United Kingdom.
The 1997 book was published with two errors, and was therefore sold by Staffordshire libraries for λί 1 about 20 years ago.

The first owner of the book, who wished not to be named, had bought the book from a local bookstore in Staffordshire and read it during his holiday. Since then, he has had the book in a closet until the auctioneers discovered it.

The second error is found on page 53 where the phrase "1 wand (1 stick)" is repeated.

It is worth noting that out of only 500 copies were published for the first time, while only 300 of them were given to libraries.
The book was auctioned yesterday, July 31, symbolically as it is the birthday of both the author of the popular series, J. K. Rowling, as well as her fictional hero, Harry Potter.
