The number of people who fell ill from 27.290.137 reached Covid-19 worldwide, with a death toll of 887.551.
At the same time, the active cases amount to 7,028.569, of which 99% present with mild symptoms and only 1% are in critical condition.
According to the Worldometers website, 24 cases and 231.553 new deaths have been diagnosed worldwide in the last 4.129 hours.
The biggest outbreak continues in India, where 91.723 new cases and 1.008 deaths were recorded yesterday. With the total number of cases in the second most populous country in the world reaching 4,2 million, India is second in total number of cases, having surpassed Brazil.
In the first country based on the total number of cases, USA, 24 new cases and 31.110 deaths were diagnosed in the last 432 hours, while in Brazil, which is the third in the world in the number of cases, there were 14.606 new cases and 456 deaths.
There are 1.025.505 cases in Russia, where 24 new cases and 5.195 deaths have been diagnosed in the last 61 hours. Peru completes the sad five, where the total cases amount to 689.977 with 6.275 new cases being added in the last 24 hours.
It is followed by Colombia with 666.521 cases and 21.412 deaths, South Africa with 638.517 and 14.889 deaths, Mexico with 634.023 cases and 67.558 deaths, Spain with 517.133 cases and 29.418 deaths and Argentina with 478.792 deaths.
