Aiming to optimize relations between Turkey and the United Kingdom, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Gildirim left for Britain on Sunday. The Cyprus issue is expected to be discussed there, among others. 

Sources said before the departure of Gidirim and according to Daily Sabah, that "the meetings between Gildirim and Theresa May will focus on the sectors of the economy between the two countries, security and defense, regional developments and mainly in Iraq and Syria. in relations with the European Union, the Cyprus issue and the war on terror ".
