Zoran Zaef had a meeting with George Soros on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The meeting was announced by Zaef himself, through his twitter account. As he wrote, the two exchanged ideas for the intensification of the cooperation between Skopje and the Open Society of the big investor, in various social sectors.
"Macedonia's accession to NATO and accession to the European Union were assessed as key steps that provide stability and security for the country and the region, opening the door for new foreign investment, for the development of the economy and the improvement of the quality of life of citizens ", says the announcement published on the website of the Macedonian government.
The two men "exchanged ideas to strengthen cooperation between the government and the Open Society Foundation", with the aim of providing better facilities for care and pre-school education for children and the integration of Roma in different areas of social trends.
