Incidents between immigrants broke out around 23:00 on Monday night (11/1) at the immigration and refugee reception center "Pournara", in Kokkinotrimithia.
According to police, there were clashes in which more than 600 migrants took part.
Those involved brought iron rods and threw stones.
The clash reportedly began when an internal fence was breached and immigrants of different nationalities were caught.
The episodes ended after a dynamic intervention of the Police.
It is noted that 35 people were slightly injured with 24 of them being transported to the General Hospital of Nicosia.
Police investigations are ongoing.
