The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth (YPPAN) is proceeding with the subsidy for the purchase of a laptop computer for students of the XNUMXnd Gymnasium and the Preparatory class of Evening Gymnasiums and Lyceums.
In a statement, the competent Ministry states that recognizing the necessity of introduction and use of New Information and Communication Technologies in Education and showing particular sensitivity in supporting needy students announces that a grant of € 400 is granted for the purchase of a Laptop and Computer. who attend the XNUMXnd grade of Public Gymnasiums and Private Secondary Schools (approved by the Ministry of Education) or the Preparatory class of the Evening Gymnasiums-Lyceums, since the families of the students are the same students (in case they are adults, according to B, with the Law on Public Aid and Services or the Minimum Guaranteed Income (EEE).
The Ministry of Education and Science remains committed to the main goal of upgrading the education system and providing quality education to young people, it is noted.
According to him, this goal is one of the most basic and ongoing challenges that modern societies are called to meet and provide solutions, as young people are called to prepare for a very demanding and competitive work environment.
In the context of this goal and the educational reform, the Ministry of Education, as mentioned in the announcement, undertakes various initiatives, submits suggestions and proposals and adopts new modernization measures, which include the implementation of the computer grant program, as well as the utilization of computers as a tool for learning and supporting the teaching process.
