The weather conditions have not contributed to the attendance of the catering companies with the resumption of their operation, on March 16, 2021, according to the President of the Federation of Leisure Center Owners Associations (OSIKA) Neophyto Thrasyvoulou.
In his statements to KYPE, Mr. Thrasyvoulou stated that the weather conditions have not helped and most of the companies could not work.
The President of OSIKA expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Health and the President of the Federation of Employers and Industrialists for their intervention in relation to the amendment to correct the measures. He also thanked the Deputy Minister of Tourism Savva Perdio who yesterday responded and proceeded to inform the organized bodies about the ways and procedures that will be carried out in the recreation centers by the Ministry of Tourism and at the same time helped to accelerate the discussion of the issue. leisure centers and the formulation of new protocols so that the food industry is slowly entering a period of normalcy.
Mr. Thrasyvoulou called on all businessmen and the public to strictly follow the protocols on the weekend when it seems that the weather will be helpful, to go out and visit the leisure centers safely and carefully.
In addition, he mentioned that the market is very numb in the recreation centers and the traffic is observed by younger customers. The goal of the Federation noted is the gradual reopening of other leisure centers.
He finally wished that the weather conditions change because otherwise, as he explained, OSIKA will ask for changes in the protocol from the epidemiological team.
