A new pruning area was created in the Municipality of Deryneia for use only by citizens.
A written announcement of the Municipality states that "the new pruning storage area is located in the new warehouse of the former SPA of Deryneia in the Industrial Zone located at 6 Thomas Edison Street. The public can transfer their pruning until it is created in the Green Point area".
It adds that "the space will be open every Saturday from 09.00 in the morning until 16:00 in the afternoon and there will be a person who will control exactly what the public deposits. The transport of vegetable waste will be allowed only to the citizens of Deryneia and is prohibited for professional gardeners ".
Citizens will be able to transport with their own vehicles only vegetable waste (pruning and leaves) paying a sum of money.
Specifically for a double-cab vehicle the amount is five euros, for a single-cab ten euros and for a small truck 15 euros.
The Municipality of Deryneia "invites all citizens to cooperate for a clean Deryneia, as it deserves. The offenders will be prosecuted, while those interested can contact 99595570 ".
