The Turkish Chamber of Commerce (KTTO) has prepared a report with proposals for facilitating the passage of roadblocks, which it handed over to the so-called "Prime Minister" Ersin Tatar on August 28, according to the electronic "Cyprus Post".

According to the report, the increase in the number of people using roadblocks was taken into account in preparing the report.

According to the data, in 2017, 2 million 592 people used roadblocks, in 2018 this number reached 3,5 million while in the first half of this year more than two million were people who crossed the roadblocks. There has also been an increase in the use of credit cards by Greek Cypriots in the occupied territories.

In its report, the "chamber" states that, in order to continue the growing trend of crossings and the use of credit cards by E / K in the occupied territories, the procedures at the crossing points should be accelerated, the number of employees at the points should be increased, and it should be allowed. the passage of vehicles from Ledra Pallas and to create another crossing point with vehicles in the western part of Nicosia.

It is also proposed that a "government committee" be set up to consider these proposals, while increasing the number of crossing points will help the economic development of the pseudo-state and the development of relations between the Greek Cypriots and the Turkish Cypriots.
