The Hellenic Police proceeded with nine arrests. for yesterday's episodes that took place in the center of Thessaloniki, after the end of the march for the completion of 13 years since the murder of Alexandros Grigoropoulos.
All those arrested are men, 19 to 27 years old, while among them are two Cypriots and a Lithuanian. A case was filed against them, as the case may be, for disturbing the common peace, violence against officials, disobedience, as well as for violations of the law on weapons and flares. Within the day they will be taken to the prosecutor for further investigation.
The first recording of the damage resulted in damage to parked cars, bank ATMs, shop windows and trash cans that were set on fire and used as makeshift roadblocks.
A total of 35 people were brought in, but 26 of them were released as there was no participation in the episodes.
