Two property managers and 17 citizens were reported for checks for COVID measures

Two property managers and 17 citizens were reported by the Police in a total of 2.188 checks in the last 24 hours for measures against the spread of the coronavirus.

The Press Office of the Police reported to KYPE that in Paphos A fruit shop was reported because the person in charge did not wear a protective mask and there were no markings for the coronavirus and an extrajudicial 500 euros was issued.

In Nicosia An extrajudicial fine of 500 euros was also issued against a hairdresser because he was serving customers beyond the permitted limit.

Details in Nicosia 845 inspections were carried out and one premises and 3 citizens were reported,

in Larnaca in 374 checks 4 citizens were reported,

in Limassol 229 inspections were carried out and 7 citizens were reported,

in Paphos 127 inspections were carried out and 1 premises was reported and in Morphou no complaints were reported in 138 audits.

In Famagusta 3 citizens were reported in 349 checks.

In 13 inspections of the Coast Guard and 113 of the Traffic Police, no complaints were received.
